The City of Brandon has recently received Minnesota Historical Society State Capital Project Grants-In-Aid matching Grant in the amount of $100,000, as well as an Otto Bremer Foundation grant in the amount of $50,000 and several local organization grant and donations to assist in the second phase of restoring our City hall. This is the second year of receiving grant funds toward the multi phased project. Last year the City was able to restore the exterior of the building and add front doors that replicated the original façade. Phase II, to begin this year, is to add accessible main floor bathrooms and heating and air conditioning to be able to allow our community continued use of the facility.
